Out of the frying pan and into Madame Tussauds
Jamie Oliver meets his new figure ? complete with rumbling tummy!

Culinary wizard, TV personality, author, restaurateur and newly-crowned ?Saint of School Dinners?; the multi-skilled Jamie Oliver can add another string to his bow as the latest celebrity to make his debut at Madame Tussauds. The figure of the popular super-chef, complete with rumbling tummy, was created in record time in response to unprecedented demand from the public.

Guests will be able to touch his tummy and literally feel his belly rumble courtesy of state of the art technology that makes his midriff move, as well as hearing his hunger as his tum growls for food. The ?naked chef?s? figure, dressed in casual clothes and an apron will also be dispensing some cheeky food quips to guests.

Royal favourite, Prince William, set hearts racing when he made his debut at Madame Tussauds. To mark the occasion guests were invited to take part in some ?Prince Charming? style fun and hoards of wannabe princesses clamoured to take a walk down the red carpet for a light hearted ?Cinderella Slipper? test and the chance to claim a kiss from their modern day prince.

Following hot on the heels of latest additions Robbie Williams and Jamie Oliver, Madame Tussauds expect the 23 year old prince to snatch the crown for most popular male and the rapturous public response today would appear to confirm this prediction. ?Prince William is hugely popular with an incredibly wide cross section of people and we?re delighted with the response to his first appearance today,? says Diane Moon from Madame Tussauds. ?We have had young girls and their mums, teenagers, older ladies and even a few lads taking a turn on the red carpet to try on our beautiful magic slipper and see if they make a ?wax match? with the Prince.

We wanted to mark his debut with a bit of special fantasy fun and our guests have loved it but they will also be able to get right up close to the Prince for their own personal Royal encounters every day.?

Reflecting his laid back personality the Prince is depicted in casual pose wearing a lounge suit. He joins his grandmother HM The Queen, his father Prince Charles and his mother Diana, Princess of Wales in the World Stage area of the attraction.

Usual opening hours are: Weekdays: 9.30am - 5.30pm, Weekends: 9.00am - 6.00pm.
