Strandboulevard Oost 1, Harderwijk Official website The Harderwijk Dolfinarium was one of the first of its kind in the world when it opened in 1965 and has since grown to become the largest marine park in Europe. The park offers a variety of marine animal shows throughout the day, including performing dolphins, sea lions and seals. Unfortunately the killer whales that were first trained here outgrew the park and are now the stars of the show at Seaworld in Florida.
Visitors can view fascinating underwater life through a 60-metre glass wall and even pet different rays as they swim. Other attractions include a walrus, a 3D Pirates show, a beautifully landscaped lagoon, the dolphin rescue and research centre, an amazing submarine trip on the SOS Barracuda, a beach, a restaurant and a play area for children.Search for hotels around this attraction
